Custody over Sherri Shepherd’s unborn surrogate child remains unclear
Television personality Sherri Shepherd and her estranged husband Lamar Sally have yet to determine the future of their soon-to-be-born surrogate son, The Daily Mail reported on July 30.
On May 3, Sally filed for legal separation from his wife of three years. His separation papers indicated that he is asking for full legal and physical custody of their unborn child. Lamar is also demanding spousal support, the cost of his attorney fees, and for their prenuptial agreement to be annulled based on fraud.
Sources connected to the issue revealed the ex-host of The View believes her estranged husband deceived her to enter into a surrogacy agreement simply to get spousal support. She is allegedly refusing to take any financial and parental responsibility over the child, although her court documents have not been revealed.
