Calli Baldwin is a fierce advocate for the needs of Texas families. In recognition of her excellence, she was chosen by Texas Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in Family Law for 2018 and 2019. Only 2.5% of lawyers are chosen for this honor each year.
Calli Baldwin has experience in divorce matters as well as in probate and estates law, particularly the drafting and administration of wills.
Calli has extensive experience with high-asset, high-conflict divorces with complex international or trust issues. This knowledge carries over into her estate planning and probate work, allowing her to further assist families and recognize the long-term needs of her clients.
As the child of a military veteran as well as in her practice, Calli also has experience with the unique issues that arise in military divorces. Calli is also a Certified Family Law Mediator, and has special training in domestic violence and child abuse matters, including the mediation of such cases.
She has received other accolades for her work in addition to her recognition as a Rising Star. Calli was named one of the Top 10 Under 40 for 2017 by the National Association of Family Law Attorneys. She won the Avvo Top Contributor Award for 2012 and 2013.
Calli is involved in the Houston community its legal community and has assumed leadership roles in her community and legal organizations. She is a member of the Association of Women Attorneys of Houston, and was ultimately selected as Chair of the Association of Women Attorneys Judicial Endorsement committee from 2016 to 2018. Calli was also selected to be a Director of a local health nonprofit, the Houston Diaper Assistance Program.
Calli graduated from the University of Houston Law Center in 2012, where she focused on family law and estates advocacy. She was awarded the Distinguished Service Award for her work in the Civil Practice Clinic, representing clients in divorce, custody, child support, and guardianship matters. She obtained her undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University.
Prior to her work with the firm, Calli worked with the First Court of Appeals, the Attorney General’s Office, and the Dallas County Public Defenders’ Office – Family Services Division, addressing client issues with child support and CPS cases.
