Edward is a United Kingdom native who moved to the United States ten years ago. Prior to moving to the States, he obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies with honors from the University of Salford in England before developing a career in management at Royal Mail. Upon arriving in Texas, Edward obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science at University of Houston, Clearlake, graduating with honors. He then decided to pursue a long-held dream to study law (specifically, American law thanks to a childhood diet of L.A. Law), and graduated from the University of Houston Law Center where he focused on employment and ERISA law.
Edward excelled immediately in the employment law field where his business background and multinational experience helped provide a unique perspective on labor employment law in the United States. However, as Edward gradually immersed himself into the Houston community, the aspiration to have a greater impact on the individual lives of its members inspired a move to incorporate family law into his legal career.
Edward’s approach to the practice of law is extremely client focused. He believes that the ability to understand the client’s goals and clearly explain how to achieve them is crucial to supplying the reassurance that everybody needs when they become involved in the legal process. This client centered style is particularly effective in the family law arena where the issues are extremely personal and doubt often weighs heavy. Edward’s goal is always to provide his clients with the confidence that whatever path they ultimately choose is right for them.
Edward is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas, the Southern District of Texas, and the Northern District of Texas and is also certified to be appointed as an attorney ad litem in guardianship proceedings in Texas.
