Former NY governor’s ex-wife receives millions from divorce settlement
According to an article by the New York Daily News, former New York governor Eliot Spitzer has been ordered to give up $7.5 million to his ex-wife Silda Wall Spitzer as part of their divorce settlement.
Furthermore, Mr. Spitzer is also required to relinquish to her the family’s Fifth Avenue home, provide her with a new car every five years, $240,000 every year until her death, $100,000 for her charities, and “entertainment and activities” expenses.
The two married in 1987 and have three adult daughters Elyssa, Sarabeth, and Jenna.
