Judith Sadler Speaks on Government Regulation for Huffington Post

|

In an article for the Huffington Post, Kevin Price consulted Diggs & Sadler’s own Judith Sadler to discuss the American ideal of the “small business” and the role that government regulation has on the development of independent businesses in the United States.

As a leading authority on labor law and Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, Sadler confirms that government oversight and regulation can affect decisions to expand by business owners. She points out that companies with over 100 employees must adhere to Affirmative Action Plans that regulate hiring practices and require an annual report. Similarly, companies with as few as 25 employees are subject to health care regulations, and OSHA summary forms are required for companies with as few as 11 employees.
