The ex-wife of a suspended Galveston County judge filed for an emergency protective order to protect her children during a child custody hearing.
The filing of the protective order was based on a signed affidavit of the former fiancée of suspended Galveston County Judge Chris Dupuy, accusing him of plotting the murder of his wife, Adrienne Viterna, and taking their children to New Zealand along with his most current fiancé.
Dupuy’s former fiancé, Tara Compton, who was supposed to take the witness stand to testify about her serious allegations, suddenly refused because she said she feared for the safety of her own children in a different child custody case.
