A District Judge ordered the release of former hand surgeon Michael Brown on Thursday the 4th after having spent 25 days at the Harris County Jail.
Brown was charged with several violations of a 2011 temporary injunction that was supposed to stop him from utilizing financial assets of the Brown Hand Center while divorce proceedings with his fourth wife Rachel Brown were ongoing.
During a March 5 court hearing, his lawyers requested his release on the grounds that he had contracted the E. Coli virus. His request was, however, denied.
After partly complying with the court orders set by State District Judge Sheri Dean, Brown was able to gain freedom. According to his lawyer, the case could now move forward and divorce proceedings resume.
