Incriminating audiotape may affect Stephen Collins’ divorce

Accusations of child molestation against 7th Heaven star Stephen Collins might impact the upcoming divorce proceeding between him and his estranged wife, Faye Grant, CBS News reported on Thursday, October 9.

Collins’ legal representative has accused Grant of leaking the audiotape allegedly containing Collins’ confession of committing sexual misconduct with underage girls. Collins’ lawyer stated that Grant has been using the audio file to blackmail Collins, saying that Grant threatened to release the audio file to the media if his client refused to pay her millions of dollars more than what asset division would normally entitle her to.

Grant rejected the claim, saying that she turned over the recording to the authorities during a criminal investigation in 2012.
