Chris Rock’s ex wants larger divorce payout

The estranged wife of American comedian and actor Chris Rock, Malaak Compton-Rock, is seeking a larger divorce payout so she can maintain the same lifestyle she had when they were still together, The Daily Mail reported on June 15.

The 46-year-old mother is demanding a larger portion of the 50-year-old actor’s estimated $70 million fortune. Because of an expired prenuptial agreement, the two are likely to enter a legal fight over their family’s bank account.

The two wed in 1996. Malaak has since given up her career in public relations to look after their two kids, Lola Simone and Zahra.

The former Baywatch star contested Salomon’s request, alleging that Salomon is not a resident of Nevada. SHe added that the two had lived together in Malibu, California, and Salomon only bought a house in Nevada last year (worth $4 million) to make it appear as though he’s living there.

Custody over Sherri Shepherd’s unborn surrogate child remains unclear

Television personality Sherri Shepherd and her estranged husband Lamar Sally have yet to determine the future of their soon-to-be-born surrogate son, The Daily Mail reported on July 30.

On May 3, Sally filed for legal separation from his wife of three years. His separation papers indicated that he is asking for full legal and physical custody of their unborn child. Lamar is also demanding spousal support, the cost of his attorney fees, and for their prenuptial agreement to be annulled based on fraud.

Sources connected to the issue revealed the ex-host of The View believes her estranged husband deceived her to enter into a surrogacy agreement simply to get spousal support. She is allegedly refusing to take any financial and parental responsibility over the child, although her court documents have not been revealed.
