In Texas, you are still married even though you filed for divorce. You're still married until the court finds the final decree of divorce. If you were to engage in dating, you could be opening yourself up to reimbursement or other types of waste claims that you wouldn't normally have if you just avoided dating until the decree was signed by a judge.
